As the saying goes, “out of space, out of mind.”

Your surroundings and your mood are closely connected! I’m Allison Dunn, professional organizer and productivity consultant in NYC, author of my first kids book inspired by my son “Khison is Having Company” and founder of Neat Rules LLC a home organizing and lifestyle brand company that has been helping people to live happier lives and creating spaces they are proud to call home. We empower individuals and families to decide what sparks Joy in their lives and how to let go of things they don’t need.

I began my professional organizing business in 2017 after giving birth to my son and was overwhelmed with all the clutter I accumulated in my small Brooklyn apartment. I quickly figured out how to combat this issue and starting doing this for family and friends while working full time as a marketing lead in the Architect, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry doing bid proposals and having a second  job at Kind Snacks as a brand ambassador. Since then I began transforming homes into spaces of serenity and inspiration  and was featured in the Insider and Apartment Therapy magazine . Our company is certified as a minority/women owned business by the City and State of New York (MWBE).

 

Our ROYGBIV (“Rainbow”) method is changing lives nationwide, using a one-of-a-kind color-coding system to conquer the chaos at home. Color psychology is powerful, impacting your mood and influencing your joy. The rainbow is one of nature’s most beautiful gifts, triggering harmony-creating hormones and instilling peace in our being. We draw inspiration from its light and love to help our clients take charge at home – and start feeling good again by organizing every aspect of your home in a neat and organized manner.
